We aim to provide our children with a stimulating environment where they may experience excitement, discovery and sociability, through a balance of experiential and structured play.

Through such experiences we hope to foster confident, co-operative, inquiring children with a lifelong zest for learning and respect for themselves and others.

Our Objectives are to :

• Ensure a sensitive transition from home to Playgroup.
• Provide a happy and stimulating environment where young children may safely enjoy well structured and purposeful play activities, which enhance and extend their learning.
• Ensure that every child's race, culture, language, and family are acknowledged and valued.
• Promote a sense of wonder and appreciation.
• Support all developing skills through play opportunities to enable the child to develop through first hand experiences.
• Promote the Seven Areas of Learning in the Foundation Phase Framework for Children’s Learning
